Glenn has received the results of his African Ancestry DNA test. Now he must go on a journey to discover what it means to be a “for real African.” On the way, Glenn discovers that redefining his sense of identity means more than just a name change. He must face challenges never faced before. Inspired by true events, Re:Definition uses hip hop, poetry, comedy, and music to tell the story of what happens when you define yourself for yourself…and what you discover along the way.

This play is also inspired by the work of The Continuum Project, Inc.
